I've pretty much given up on the LP. I'll probably have to wait until I move out.
However, I'm now thinking I might get me a nice acoustic.
Anything you might suggest? (keeping in mind I can't spend as much as I can afford)

Hmmmmm
Parents can be dicks. I was in the same situation as you before. Caused a huge fight between me and my old man. He forbid me to buy that guitar(the price) and I defied him ouf course.
If I had listend to him, I woulda been one miserable bastard to be around.

may i make a suggestion? everyone learn "The Walls Get Smaller" it's by "The Music" i don't really like the music, but this song is all instrumental, so there's no odd singing. It's VERY easy to learn, but VERY VERY rewarding i find to play as long as you have bass accompianing (play with the song). Seriously check it out folks

It depends on what you want. You could probably find one for $100,$500,$3000 and so on and so forth. It all depends on what you want. if you want one just to fuck around on, go for a cheaper one. if not, go for one of the higher quality models.
anyways if you tell your old man...well..you know what may happen

Well, as long as I spend under $1000 for it, I should be fine telling him.

Yeah. But I'm looking for a more classic acoustic. The SST barely qualifies as acoustic.
