we can only hope . . . or at least i can only hope . . . then the stupid cbc will only have ottawa and vancouver to overanalyse until you just want to gouge all their eyes out . . . and you say, "what about edmonton, they can still talk about edmonton" . . . to that basically the cbc doesn't care . . . i swear on a hockey night in canada, the cbc would talk more about toronto than edmonton even if the leafs tied someone like buffalo 1-1, while the oilers are beating someone like detroit 5-0

very true heh
the CBC is biased towards the leafs heh
harry neale was callin a game in ottawa one night and made the comment "for some reason the ppl up here in ottawa dont really like me" about 5-10 mins later he was goin on and on about how good the leafs are and how the sens werent tough enough or physically able to stand up to the "beloved leafs" and all this other BS ..
like i said somewhere else b4.. walk upto rob ray, vaclav varada, bryan smolinski, chris neil, zdeno chara or shane hnidy, say that the sens are a bunch of babies and will get pushed over by the leafs or any other team and see what happens

personally.. rob ray vs harry neale.. hmm it might a be a stretch but somehow i dont think harry neale would ever go NEAR a sens game after that..

and as for what don cherry said i think it was last week.. "the ottawa senators.. boy is that a tough team" i nearly shat myself..
like.. don cherry actually acknowledge a team other than boston or the leafs?! wow. hell has frozen over my friends.

Oh, I miss the days when people didn't want to play the Sabs because they knew they were gonna get beat. :(

i'd like to agree with you . . . but it's very doubtful. looks like they'll be playing either detroit or dallas in the first round, and although the oilers have been known to pull out some miracles, i doubt they'll make it past the first round. the one thing that is for sure is that whoever they play in the playoffs, it will probably make for the best series in the playoffs.

like the days when they had hasek so that all they had to do was score at least once and they'd probably win.

it's official! edmonton-dallas first round!

I though there was no way detroit was going to lose to Chicago, but it has happened.

it must be destined in the stars (no pun intended) they this match up would once again come to fruition.

vancouver/st louis first round

as much as i hate what just happened,(forseberg winning the art ross, heduk the rocket richard, and colorado the division)

ill admit this will be one hell of a series, one of the best in canucks history

I'm excited as well for the Blues/Nucks series. I wasn't too optomistic about a first round win against the Avs. Not to say that the Nucks are going to be a cake walk. But the Blues at least have a chance against the Nucks. Blues in 6!

LET'S GO BLUES!

I would love to see Edmonton win that series, but honestly, I don't think they'll get past 5 games.

Ottawa in 5.
NJ in 6.
Tampa in 6.
Phillie in 7.
Dallas in 5.
Detroit in 4.
Colorado in 5.
Vancouver in 6. (that's more hoping than anything)
