yeah, apparently they're bulletproof. as in, you could shoot it and the bullet wouldn't come out the other side.
i have a dark grey one that i got at coast mountain sports with a small neck. it looks like this...

nalgene bottles are also useful because they don't retain the bacteria that makes your water taste like crap after you leave it in there for awhile. however i've heard that the plastic used to make nalgene bottles causes birth defects, but what tha hecko. the funny colours are worth it.
i only know all this because nalgene bottles are EVERYWHERE at my school.
