It's starting to "grow" on me I guess. I miss pure acoustic.

Johnny Cash/Willie Nelson - VH1 Storytellers

Brutus is an honorable man
It's just coincidence that oil men will wage war in an oil rich land
And this one goes out to my man taking cover in the trenches with a gun in his hand
Then gets home and no one flinches when he can't feed his fam...

But Brutus is an honorable man...

Good CD

Brandnew - Deja Entendu (or whatever it's called)
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

I am starting to look forward to seeing Brandnew. And MXPX. And leaving as soon as Dashboard ends to I can go to see Hot Hot Heat.

I dunno why I didn't get the cd earlier. I guess I was just lazy about buying music for a while, but what matters is that I have it now.

It's source is bright and endless. She resuscitates the hopeless. Without her we are lifeless satellites dreaming dreams. And as I pull my head out I am without one doubt. Don't want to be down here feeding my narcissism. I must crucify the ego before it's far too late. I pray the light lifts me out before I pine away.
