a bit pushy there. but anyways I already have 12 or so songs of theirs on kazza, I like what i've heard, just havent listened to them a ton and really caught on.
As for the Detroit show, i'd probly go if i had the people to go with. theres maybe a whole 3 people in my school who can name 1 alk3 song, and I cant name any of those people. same idea goes for a lot of other great bands that i'm missing out on in detroit.

CKY almost booted them off of their tour only their manager wouldn't let them cause of contracts and other stuff... One of my friends is in with CKY so she was telling me about how CKY thought AAR were horrible and all this other stuff.
Anyways I watched One Hour Photo last night. Very good movie, lots of attention to detail was made.

*gasp*
another TTYN... thread? I have been gone far too long.
My friend just decided that Alkaline Trio is her new favorite band. Lets see... last week it was the Ataris, the week before it was Finch, the week before that it was Good Charlotte... actually I think that one lasted a few weeks!

Well, her progression into favorite bands is definitely getting better. You have GC, who blows. Then it moves up to Finch, who are good. Then you go to the Ataris, who are damn good. Then it moves to Alkaline Trio, who are amazing. So it's alright.

Everybody's favorite bands will change .. OLP used to be my favorite band for years, now they've slipped on the list. With people discovering new bands all the time and rediscovering old favorites, it's not a bad thing for your taste in music to change. That's normal. I'd be more worried if your favorite bands didn't change every now and then!

Yeah... but when they change every WEEK it gets a little rediculous.

ah yes, the Good Charlotte faze. one of my friends is in that right now. they are alright, i don't mind them much, but they are nothing to be obsessed about or anything.

Yeah but who's to say what band is worthy of obession or not though? It's all a matter of personal opinion ..

I think that when everyone suddenly becomes obsessed with a band, that's when you know it's a fase. I mean Good Charlotte have been around for a long time but just now people are all suddenly obsessed with them.
