why can't anything ever go right in my life?

Well, thats good. I feel better, I was honestly worried that they turned into jerks. I didn't think so tho. And after all this pointing out about being sick, the weather, and being tired, I think it makes it seem all the more heroic that they did actually hang out afterwards. And yeah, security guards lie A LOT about stuff like that. It's happened to me more than a few times with other bands.

Exactly

There's always more to the story then what people think .. everyone was hating on the band and look .. hehe, they DID come out. Talk about eating your words

yeah, but now I'm kicking myself for not waiting longer. But if I did that, they might have had to amputate my feet. When was my life more important than my band, though? meh.

At least you got two picks out of it .. that's more than some of us have

true, true.
That was the best thing that could've ever happened to me. I was ecstatic.
Mike and Jer noticed my sign right away, looked at each other, and laughed.
I'm a lot happier, knowing the whole story, but I still think I'm done with OLP for a few months. I don't have the time, nor the money to go through what I went through.
I'm not giving up, though. They're too freaking awesome to hate.

Especially when there's no reason to hate them!

well, I still wished somebody would've told us what was going on, so we could have gone in the car and waited until they were done with the interviews.
Ah well.

I'm glad everything's sorted out. I was going to have a big rant about everything, but now I don't need to. I've been to a few shows where I've waited for hours afterwards and they haven't come out and they always have a reason. That being said, they were really nice to me when I met them in Ottawa and Montreal and Steve went outside in Montreal to talk to fans when it was freezing. Even better was Raine going out without a coat to find him for me! Maybe that's why he's ill. I hope it's not all my fault! I'm really sorry if it is.
PS - Security guards are just mean. The ones in Ottawa were threatening to fine us or call the police unless we left! There was just a group of about 10 of us standing there quietly not causing any trouble.

I just want to forget that this whole concert happened. It was one bad thing after another, and now I'm finally realizing that OLP really does care about their fans, and if we would've just waited a little longer, I could've told Steve thanks for the picks, and everything.

Hey Bethany,
Sorry to hear you are all olp'ed out. But one thing I can tell you is that the security gaurds were lying by saying they were too tired to come out (not surprising as they usually do lie to clear crowds), as they eventually did come out. We actually overheard someone tell Raine that he could take a back way out to avoid the crowd, but he refused by saying, "No...I must go out and talk to the fans". By this point, the other band members had already left and were signing things and taking pictures. I do realize it could of been sooner as you were all freezing, but the reason they were inside so long is that they had several interviews to conduct in that back room that they were coming in and out of.
I knew it. I'm seriously going to cry as soon as this sinks in fully. Why wouldn't you guys wait with me longer?

No we don't. I still didn't get to see the band... after waiting outside for a total of 9 hours. I can't believe this. I want to die. This is so unfair. I want to find that security guard and kill him. I don't care how nice he was. That was just mean. God, I knew he was lying. Why didn't I just stay there. I had a key to the hotel, I could've frigging walked back alone.
