Me at Safe-grad with my best female friend. I was REALLY wasted when this was taken and didn't realize it existed. Which explains my slightly drunken swagger and disordered hair from rocking out.

wait what? you guys don't have safe-grad?!?!?!?
it's kinda like prom i guess except it's not formal it's just a huge party put on by the school. The idea is that if you have a cool party and offer everyone rides, cheap booze, and permission slips for underage kids to drink, then everyone stays safe and doesn't drink and drive.
It's seperate after the grad ceremonies and banquet, and everyone gets changed.

It's actually put on by the Brandon Police so i'm not sure, security is pretty tight. Like i said i think the idea is that the kids are going to be going drinking and partying no matter what, so they give them a safe fun place to all do it together. I'm pretty sure you just need your parents to fill out a waiver saying that you won't leave the building with out being in their care.

so what happened after the ceremony? did everyone just go to house parties? or some sort of Prom?

Yeah our safe grad was in Bowser. The school rented a lodge thingy and we partied all night. Everyone was drinking, but no one had car keys or anything. I think in times like these its very socially responsible. They ARE going to drink no matter what, and better it be in a well lit supervised environment where theres no chance of getting into a car with someone or something. There have been many tragedies at my school due to drinking and driving on prom night. Its very sad.
