My mom tried to get me to go into counselling and talk to someone too .. not for me. Telling a complete stranger about my life isn't something that would help me .. doctors are so quick to prescribe medication it's just sad now .. they talk to you for 5 minutes and all of a sudden you need prozac .. umm no

Today in calculus class, our teacher got a splinter from the meter stick. He got all freaked out and he left the class for like 30 mins. It was funny.
oh yeah, my friends and i were having a debate about the care bears (don't ask) and we were arguing about the name of the city they lived in. I said it was care-a-lot but she disagreed. Anyone know the name?

I hate school. I just got back my chem test that i really studied for and i thought i did really well on, but i only got 79.

At least it was better than my last chem test. And i had a chem quiz today, that i don't think i did too well on. Annnnnd, i overheard my teacher saying we were having a surprize quiz tomorrow. The tests and quizzes and labs never stop in this damn class
And in calculus, i am getting a 76. It went down 4%

I thought i would be doing alot worse considering on my last test i got 67 and my last quiz i got 59.
I am gonna have to work my ass off to increase my marks

I hate school

why are you taking calculus??? What are you planning on majoring in? I'm a psych major, and I don't need calc.
People don't take calculus unless:
a) They're the freakish type that loves math
b) They have to take it to graduate

What makes my story even more sad is that i don't even know what i want to major in.
And my friend and i were trying to decide what i should take next semester, and i think we decided on OAC Algebra and geometry, OAC finite math, and OAC physics. And then, on top of all that, OAC english at night school
I don't know what i am going to do. i really have gotta get to a guidance councellor and figure out what classes i need and what classes i don't need.

Why in the hell are you taking all these science classes?!?!!?
Do you want to die?
Unless you are planning on engineering or pre-med or something, don't take those classes, seriously.

I don't understand your educational system. It's confusing.
My last year of high school, I believe I took Anatomy/Physiology, psychology, child psychology, AP govt, AP English, Honors Pre-Calc, Spanish III and a religion class (Catholic school)
I think your OAC is comparable to freshman year of college at an American university or something.

hehe...senior year of high school was a joke for me. i took easy classes and stuff....i was a typical senior..didn't do any work...didn't care about college...basically my parents filled out most of my college apps. for me. i was too lazy. i was just living in the moment..and it was goooooood.

And you know what is even better about Ontario schools? I am the last year that acutally has to do OAC(aka grade 13). Sooooo, that means that the grade 12's don't have to do OAC. Therefore, all the OAC's and grade 12's are graduating together and all competing for spots at univeristies

i don't understand this OAC stuff. so if you were in america you'd be in your first year of college? or you just take grade 13 classes during your 12th year. are you actually going to school for a year longer than american kids? i'm all confused
