It was definitely a weird play. He's had a pretty bad season. Oh well...

Yeah, I am rooting for Vancouver. What the hell, why not see them win? Them and the Flyers baby.

maxilla bone, right under his nose. He was trying to knock the puck down cuz Biron was way out of the net when he tried to clear. If he would have done it right, he would have had an open net to shoot at. Shows you the kind of luck the Blues have had. Oh well they've been resiliant this season. They'll make the playoffs but seriously doubt they'll make it to the finals. But that's ok
GO BLUES!

a 2nd/3rd rounder in this years draft isnt nothin but it was a good pickup.. plus they couldnt get what they wanted.. which was apparently vinnie damphouse.. but they couldnt pull the trigger
as for.. the isles.. not garth snow but rick dipietro will be the starter next year.. maybe not this year tho.. especially with their current rather precarious position in terms of the playoffs.. 3 losses in a row.. montreal's 3 pts out but the isles DO have games at hand..
its sad to see killer leave montreal but he did get hurt today and hey.. if jason ward is playin with the habs.. i'd say go as far as to trade saku (im not serious about that one) lol

Toronto picked up nolan, gilmour, housley, and some other guy. they never go this crazy at playoff time, looks like they want the cup
....although i dont approve of them buying their team. They should win with the team they've developed over the years, a few additions is okay though.

Killer got hurt lastnight
from what i just heard on the edge.. knee injury.. depending on severity.. (ie if its ligament damage) could be season and career ending..
altho he could come back from a medical standpoint.. its just not highly likely for a 39 yr old to come back from ligament damage and come back to play
which is sad
i have a lot of respect for doug gilmour and what he did with and for montreal in his time there and altho sad to see him go.. he deserves another shot for the cup

It's been confirmed Arlie.....Galisano bought the farm.
He's an alum from my college, the tool. Supposedly, he's planning on donating several million to the school to build a new activity center.
If I became rich after college is all set and done, don't count on me giving ya money. I pay a freakin NUFF to afford the knowledge.

Tkachuk out at least one game with wrist injury; status unclear
March 14, 2003
ST. LOUIS (AP) -- St. Louis Blues forward Keith Tkachuk will be sidelined at least one game due to a wrist injury.
The Blues' leading scorer with 30 goals this season, Tkachuk left Thursday's game at Vancouver after an open-ice hit from Brad May. X-rays showed Tkachuk's right wrist, while swollen, was not broken.
The 30-year-old Tkachuk returned to St. Louis on Friday to have the wrist re-examined by team doctors, rather than travel with the team to Nashville for Saturday's game against the Predators.
Tkachuk was scheduled to have additional tests, after which his playing status would be determined, Blues spokesman Frank Buonomo said.
Tkachuk scored his 30th goal this season Thursday night against the Canucks before leaving the game -- holding his right arm close to his body -- after the hit by May, who was playing his first game with Vancouver since being reacquired Tuesday from Phoenix
thank you all mighty hockey GODs!
