Lando's right about Mediafire. I've used it several times, and only had a problem once. The file wouldn't go through, but I think it was a problem with the file, not the site.

-Aaaand, of course this starts a new page, and it seems completely unrelated. Meh, that's usually how it works.

I keep thinking you're Johnny. I have no idea why. I only look at avatars...and yours reminds me of Johnny.

Even though the lyrics aren't exactly groundbreaking. I think "Something to Happen" is the best of the new OLP stuff I've heard. Just an awesome, catchy, amazing song with a sweet little guitar riff. Just my opinion, but listening to that one got me more excited than the rest. I'd even hope they'd make this the first single.

Can't wait for this album.

...i'm listening to that song right now.

and it is HORRIBLE.

wow. and what's with all the mid-song slow downs in their songs lately? it's bad. so bad.

right stuff is also horrible.

and i've previously expressed my dislike for monkey brains.

*sigh*

i'm closing my ears to any and all new our lady peace from now on. this is just depressing.

Kathy, or anyone else, do you have pictures from the concert itself?

Lando did you twist Laurels knickers?

haha I haven't even listened to the new songs!

besides Right Stuff from a while back. But that song was so incredibly horrible and poorly written that I've stayed away from the new stuff in hopes that maybe when an album comes out it won't sound anywhere near as amateur as that song!

Raine's voice really irritates me more than anything else, really.

I however, shall refrain from passing judgement until i hear the finished product.

I completely agree with you there. Something is definitely wrong with Raine's voice in that concert.

I'm really hoping that he's just fighting a flu or something.

Aside from that, I was extremely impressed with Monkey Brains. I feel that this shows, if nothing else, that OLP is still capable of producing what many of us consider to be their "good music". Waiting for Something to Happen, on the other hand, was quite unmemorable.

Yeah, to be honest Raine's voice (and maybe other factors) actually made me think it was an amateur cover band of OLP for some of the songs... I can't stand the way he sings the "One Man Army" chorus now... but I must say that he did a great job of "Is Anybody Home".

I think Raine's voice has just been worn down over the years, I mean just think of how much he has sung, especially live, and how good and perfect he was for the longest time! He had so many ranges in his voice! That's gotta do a number on one's vocal cords!

I'm glad someone finally realized that.
