no offence or anything, but how do you tell everyone to not take everything said on the internet so seriously and then flip out because of something someone did on the internet?

heh, that's true. I mean, I can see getting upset over someone editing your posts for fun, but I don't think it's something that needs to be taken so seriously. It's okay to goof off with spam and ego-inflated posts (I assume that was the joke), but not to counter those posts by editing. If you're upset about mods editing your posts, that's one thing, but a rant/goodbye post and your promised consequences seem a little overkill...
