That should have ended all the arguing!

Thank you for the piece on Ann Coulter and co. One only hopes that they speak for a small minority.I read something very disturbing in the weekend paper. Two American university profs are now teaching at McMaster because they were seen as unpatriotic when they wrote something about The Dumbing of America. Apparently it is in the interest of business in a consumer society to have an uneducated majority of people. They are easier to manipulate! University education is becoming so expensive, only a few will be able to afford it. Another point was that business puts money into athletic scholarships, not academic ones.So it looks like we are living in trying times and we'll have to put up with a lot of ignorance coming from accross the border. I feel really sorry for the americans that disagree with the present situation but can't speak up out of fear. The McCarthy era revisited?

Or maybe her redneck father beat her a few to many times
There is an incredible amount of ignorance towards Canada in the US
(Her ignorance only signifies her republican culture. As do her *@&@&^#&^#* comments.)
Probably. But somehow i think you spend a lot longer finding people ignorant to American culture in Canada then vice-versa
In Canada we live in the World. In America they live in America.
