   well 9 that he uses. I mean santa's been around for a long time. reindeer don't live that long, so he's obviously using the offspring of older ones eventually

   well if santa uses 9 reindeer, weighs 500 lbs and can take all the presents in the world, then divide all the presents into 9 different groups all weighing the same amount, then one reindeer would easily be able to take 1/9th of the original total, considering he only has a little elf to bring!

   Not only that, but the elves would be faster, and can fit down chimneys easier, the reindeer wouldnt have to be out as long since there are 8 others working at the same time
