Ya, that's the tricky part. I like the format, though.

Even that is a heck of a lot of people

ya 50 is a lot...and how will have some sort of quirky thing to say about everyone in their definition?

50 is a good number cause everyone in the top 50 pretty much posts regularly. But it's a large endeavour which makes it seem like a lil too much.

True that. Well, you could make it open to everyone in which they would write their own. Most of the regular posters wouldn't hesitate at it, and non-posters probably wouldn't even give it a go.

I vote that we open it to the top 50 posters, but let them submit their own info/request to be in it. That way people who aren't here or are too lazy or don't want in won't be included.

Obviousy exceptions can be made at our discretion, ie Lori.

I like Jonny's idea better actually cause the "top 50" does change around a lot i'd think (in the bottom numbers)

ya that sounds cool to me.

So basically we would need a template to be sent to everyone.
everyone has to find a post that best exemplifies themselves, and then make up a quirky definition, and maybe a few odd things like age/location/fave thread... etc...

That way, the mods could just delete a post from someone who just came on here to write that. Also, we wouldn't be discluding anyone who actually deserves a spot, ie Stace and Lori

I think that's overkill... it should basically just be a pared-down idea of their CM "persona"

Ya that sounds like the best way to go.
I'd make a template, but I think some of the others on this board are better at it :P

Ya I just thought it'd be cool if they had a quote or something along with it from something that they're known for. It doesn't really have to be a link I guess.

I think we should try and make it as interesting as we can. The way I see it, the more info the better.

I'm sure Nikki could easily come up with something since she's the brains behind a lot of the stuff that goes on around here. If she wouldn't mind of course.

ya exactly.

Kinda like a hall of fame type deal. I mean imagine the CM was still around in 10 years and people could look at a thread showing all the originals.

I think that's overdoing it  but it seems like we're on the same page anyways

Wait, we have to write our own? I could come up with something for a few other members, but I doubt anything I'd write about myself would be funny/quirky/interesting.

I could totally see myself 10 years down the line wondering what happened to all those people on the CM, then trying to get into this website (which by then would actually be about some sort of clumsy monkey) to see the old posts.

I love how immortalized we feel for being on a public messageboard for a couple years

Oh, and I second the Nikki idea, with her final plan pending on a collective go-ahead of course.

Heh, democracy makes me feel all fuzzy.
