Pills aren't necessary to be a healthy vegan. I've spoken to a nutritionist about it and supplements aren't needed as long as you're eating the right foods. Meat isn't necessary to be healthy. In fact since I've cut out meat I've been healthier with fewer colds and my allergies have faded to almost nothing.
and for your teeth thing: "human bodies are better suited to a vegetarian diet. Carnivorous animals have long, curved fangs, claws, and a short digestive tract. Humans have flat, flexible nails, and our so-called "canine" teeth are minuscule compared to those of carnivores or even compared to vegetarian primates like gorillas and orangutans. Our tiny canine teeth are better suited to biting into fruits than tearing through tough hides. We have flat molars and a long digestive tract suited to a diet of vegetables, fruits, and grain."
and your operating room theory? i'm sorry that's dumb. you don't eat people. watching an operation is different then watching the torture that these animals go through. hearing them screaming in pain ... to be able to witness that and continue to eat meat is disgusting to me. people who are having operations done aren't awake and writhing in pain on concrete floors, they aren't being beaten with sticks and stepped on. animals don't have the luxory of being medicated to avoid the pain and the opportunity to sleep through the entire procedure.
there's no such thing as a humane slaughterhouse, who's going to waste money on humanely slaughtering animals, they're doomed to die, nobody cares right .. these animals aren't put to sleep first, people are so naive about it .. most people have no idea what that animal went through before it magically appeared on their plate.
and i'm not juding anyone .. this is just something i feel very strongly about and it's why i tend to avoid talking about it because i get too emotional.

but you still have to eat a lot of specific foods prepared specific ways.
it's not something that can be done without any knowlege and instruction...
and a lot of people wouldn't have survived without eating meat before this knowlege was available.
this being said, i have no problem with other peoples decisions, but i think that saying eating meat is "unnatural" is going a little too far.

again, untrue.
i eat just like you do, the same way you do
without killing an innocent creature
and what happened way back in 2000AB doesn't matter, the point is you can survive NOW without meat, people just CHOOSE not too.
and there is nothing natural about eating the carcass and remains of a dead animal to me

you've got to be kidding?
stop trying to nit pick and find something wrong in everything i'm saying
no access to beans, you're just being ridiculous now
what's easier to get access too? beans, fruits, vegetables, all things you can grow in your own damn backyard if you wanted too ... or is it easier to chop up a cow .. seriously now.

if at some point meat was a necessary part of survival, than it was in human nature to eat meat... it can't suddenly become unnatural.

you think planes are dropping meat?
no they're dropping grains and seeds and rice ..
you don't need a grocery store to be healthy
you're not even reading my posts.
like i said earlier ..
anything you need to eat healthy can be grown in your own backyard
i'm not talking about third world countries, i'm talking about your average joe smoe american or canadian that CHOOSES to eat meat.

1. I could care less about everyone's situation after being taken under the wing of some goodwill organization. i'm talking about pure survival.
2. If you have a point to make, it doesn't mean you need to rip apart everything other people say. If you think you're right, say so.. but you dont need to go out of your way to tell me that i'm wrong.

and all i was saying to begin with is that it isn't unnatual to eat meat. if it's necessary to anyone, than it's a part of nature.

You're the one challenging and analyzing every sentence I make. Just because I have a response don't get all mad. I think I'm right when it comes to ME personally, I don't judge other people for eating meat. But if you're going to rip apart every sentence I make, then expect me to respond in the same manner.
You say it's natural, I disagree .. and I've stated my reasons for why I disagree and nothing anybody can say can convince me otherwise. Eating meat, is not something I consider natural. Far from it. It's not necessary for anyone to eat meat these days. Nobody is living on the instincts of pure survival anymore. There aren't packs of rabid humans roaming around with spears anymore, we're past the caveman days.

Actually my experience of an abattoir is a long line of animals who get bullet to the brain. The end. its pretty humane if you ask me.

Its true. KFC Boils their chickens alive. But nevermind the slaughterhouse, have any of you seen how they keep the chickens?! In tiny little cages with 20 in each. Its disgusting.

KFC didn't boil their chickens alive when I worked there, nor did that occur for any KFC in the Niagara region.

I eat meat and I always will. I just think that people eat too much of it now, over indulgence, just like anything else. Meat is really hard to digest. More fruits and veggies definitely need to be added to our diets. Not to mention, it is my religious belief that killing animals for no reason is wrong. It's hard to admit, since I eat quite a bit of meat.

Human bodies are designed certain ways for certain things. Just because we have that incisor doesn't mean that we didn't depend on meat then. If the rule is we can only use our bodies as it biologically makes sense, then I think we could apply this reasoning about homosexuality. I think it takes it too far, but some people here would be contradicting themselves.

if our early ancestors hadn't started to eat bone marrow and small animals we never would have gotten the nutrients needed for us to form the larger brains we have. It's actually the crucial stage in our development that allowed us to become higher beings then shit flinging, awkward apes/
of course if you don't believe in evolution.....
