I wish I had something to contribute but I'm not much of a history buff.
I would imagine Ford contributed greatly to the Nazi campaign in the war but his attachment to the Nazis doesn't reflect the US government at all.
Keep it up though guys, this stuff is very interesting.

you might be confusing WW1 with WW2. in world war 1 we were neutral for the longest time selling supplies to both britian and germany. the english would stop the ships out at sea and would take all the supplies from US ships that were bound for germany. this would piss off the US, but the thing was Britian paid for it, so no one complained, well except germany. so they made up this rule to not hijack US merchant ships, but the british did it anyway. German submarines decided to just blow up anytrhing out of the water, since the british wern't fighting fair so they blew up a few US ships, (some were not supply ships but recreational cruises) we got pissed and entered the war.
in world war 2, we did the same for a while. Japan had their own rifles though. good ones too. every japanese rilfe had the christanthimum (sp.) engraved on the barrel. when japan surrendered, the last order was to file that flower off of the rifle before turning them in to US authorities. i don;t think we sold them those rifles, because if you look at a few, they look nothing like US standard issue rifles.

The france not fighting for itself really annoys me for some reason and i'm not even french. Is everyone really that ignorant? France enarly dominated the world several times and was a world power for most of it's existence. They made America, lets be serious without their interference a bunch of rebels were not going to overthrow the largest empire in the world. France has a long history of war, so lets just drop the whole france is full pussies deal. They've been on the block longer then both Canada and America.
Infact they're probably one of the most crucial reasons Canada and America exist.

makes sence to me, Ireland really dislikes protestants, mainly because they came and took our country from us, slaughtered our children and went on as if nothing happened.

the main basis for france = pussies comes from the fact that they made this bad ass defense tunnel on one part of the france border to fend off germany, but they completely forgot about another border, so germany took that country then came into france without going through that defense. i think the history channel said that the guns on that tunnel system were never fired during war.

What do you guys think the world would be like right now had the Nazis of won the war?
I'd also like to know if you guys think a party with a Nazi platform could win in a developed country (ie. one of the top 10-15 countries in the world) . I also mean the party's entire platform. Not just the racial extermination, which is what many people focus on what they talk about the Nazi platform.

You don't have to be a bigot to fall for the nazi platform. Much of their platform has nothing to do with hate for the jews. That part just happens to be the part everyone remembers.

Their whole platform. As much as we hope that the public wouldn't want to exterminate an entire race, do you guys think that a Nazi-esque party could win an election? Because there was economic reasons (at least from what the Nazi's were telling people) why the Jews supposedly needed to be dealt with. A large portion of the country was incredibly poor, and the Nazi's blamed this on the Jews. The voters believed it and thought that by getting rid of the jews, this would better their chances at a better life.
It's not that the public wanted them killed. The original plan was to export all the jews, and many were exported to Canada and the USA but told to go back because they weren't wanted here.
I'll see if I can find a good website outlining their platform (without having to post Mein Kampf), and see what you guys think.

ok here's a site with the original platform. I have more in my school notes as we did an entire semester last year on the Nazi party. I'll be glad to pull out some stuff from my notes, and my books on Fascism and Nazism if you guys want to read about it.

The Raza Unida Political party is a good party, they sought equality between races and were supporters of a womans rights.
but the problem is that their views are outdated, they were extremly anti-white (in some cases still are), and most importantly, the man who ran for governor was set up with a load of pot at the border, thus creating a stigma to this party that dissolved their threat to the 2 party system. if you even mention Raza Unida to people they'll laugh and consider it illegitimate.

I think it could actually work. However, the right circumstances would have to be in place. People would have to be desperate for change. Remember, Germany was absolutely devistated and left with nothing after WWI, and jumped at the chance to have even a few of Hitler's promises fullfilled.

Exactly. Not too mention Hitler was able to offer something to everyone. Most political parties nowadays only cater to a certain group.
