That was either sarcasm or illiteracy. I'm talking about the ClumsyMonkey community. Lets count the number of Bush sucks threads compared to the number of Bill Clinton sucks threads (Although it is more likely they would be Bill Clintion gets sucked threads).

i heard about this in a recent newspaper, its pretty stupid that we have to live in fear of terrorism and can't go on in our daily lives and vote.

Well you did say it was a character flaw and Aerin said it could be out of stupidity. Sure it could be out of pride. But *gasp*, God forbid someone actually WANTED to vote George Dubya.
People who vote Bush because they truly believe in rebuplican politics and feel he embodies them = not stupid.
People who vote Bush because they think God wants him to be president = psychotic.
People who vote Bush because "he seems like a nice guy" (this is why my mother voted for him) = stupid.
Of course, voting for Kerry
just because you hate Bush isn't a good reason, either.

Why the hell would we set up threads talking about the Clinton administration? I'm pretty sure that had the CM existed during the 90's we would have had plenty of threads questionning Clinton's actions. Clinton is pretty irrelevent to the present realy, unless you feel like discussing Monica.
If that's the case then go ahead, set up a thread and we'll talk about dress stains and cigars.

Not really the point but fine. Replace "Bill Clinton" with "John Kerry".

Not really. If you wanted to discuss how the Clinton administration effected the Bush administration, that is completely relevant.

when i said how come they weren't conscentrating on attacks/ terrorism when the planes hit on 9/11- I was going by what was brought out at the 9-11 hearings. How they messed up sending the planes to divert the towers being hit and things of that nature. That is what I meant by that statement.
I also never said people who are republican are stupid. I've voted republican, I voted democratic, I voted liberal. I go for the canadate that will at least address some of my concerns.
I never liked BUSH's politics. I had a feeling if he won in 2000 we would end of in War. Which we did. There were other things I didn't like about him then either.
I still don't like BUSH's politics. Not that Kerry's is any better's, but giving the 2 choices I have to go with Kerry.

Honestly, everyone here would bitch about the president, no matter who it was. Just because a republican is in office doesn't mean we're all liberal. Yes, I may be very liberal, but I'm damn sure if Gore got into office, I'd bitch about his fuck-ups too.
People haven't bitched about Kerry all that much because we really have nothing to discuss about him. He hasn't done anything all that shocking to cause an uproar, except be on the fence about everything. Believe me, if he says something offensive, we'll be all over him.
In other words, Corey, we're not liberal, we all just hate government in general.

What it comes down to is, that we, as America's youth, can't be happy about anything. So just because one of those precious republicans are in office doesn't make this entire board liberal democrats that love to hug trees or something, it just makes us ourselves.
Believe me, if Kerry wins, I'll hate his guts too. I just happen to be at the point where I want Bush out of office at any cost, and if it means we have to get the complete antithesis of him in office (which is equally terrible, mind you) I'll take it. I'm ready for a change.

to kind of sort of defend bush here, he based the war on intel, and intel totally imploded on us. did he know it was old intel? yeah i'm pretty sure he did, at least i hope he did. was there any new intel though? i don't know. is tenet gone, yes. why? because someone in the white house told him he sucked and his ass would be gone if he didn't leave. why was bush so adimate that we go to war? well, like me, he wanted shit done. the difference between me and him is that:
1. i'm a native TexAn, that new england boy just acts the part
2. i want shit done, and i want the truth. he wants shit done, and he thought what he had was the truth.
i'm still voting Kerry.

Bush thought Iraqis had WMD's and could possibly sell them to terrorists. Bush was wrong. I believe his concern was genuine but unfortunately mistaken. Do I think the war could have waited? Yes. Do I think that the war needed to happen eventually anyways? Yes. We know that they have had WMDs in the past. What has happened to them? Who knows.

Of course the US knows they had them...they sold them to them!
I have to agree with Alan here. I think most of us are critical of American policy, and not just Bush. Hell, Bush isn't the brain child behind everything that's happened. He's just the posterboy for the republican party.

If we wanted to we could discuss how every administartion has affected its predecessor. Clinton's actions were affected by Bush Sr. and Bush Sr was affected by Reagan, and so on and so forth.

America has weapons of mass destrction too. America has enough nukes to destroy the world three times, but you don't see other countries marching into America to destroy them.
