You're silly. Everyone knows that the United States owns everything.Rusty wrote:i read your links nikki, my only question now, why do we need 6 american flags on the moon? shouldn't there be some other countries flags up there? not every astrounaut on the moon was american
yeah but there have been many satalites that have gone around that side to take pictures, but alas no flag, and with that pick you posted wouldn't that have said that they were on the side that could see the earth?Axtech wrote:The moon's orbit keeps the same surface facing the earth, so the landing site is most likely "around the corner" so to speak.
Um... The moon is pretty big. It's possible that when pictures were taken, the flag was small enough to not show up.The Other Josh wrote:yeah but there have been many satalites that have gone around that side to take pictures, but alas no flag, and with that pick you posted wouldn't that have said that they were on the side that could see the earth?Axtech wrote:The moon's orbit keeps the same surface facing the earth, so the landing site is most likely "around the corner" so to speak.

That pic was most likely taken by a rover. That's not necessarily from the site that humans actually landed on.The Other Josh wrote:yeah but there have been many satalites that have gone around that side to take pictures, but alas no flag, and with that pick you posted wouldn't that have said that they were on the side that could see the earth?Axtech wrote:The moon's orbit keeps the same surface facing the earth, so the landing site is most likely "around the corner" so to speak.
I went to them!nikki4982 wrote:Matt posted that... nobody seems to have gone to the links I posted. I love it when I spend my time finding things to post and everyone ignores my existance.
