i read your links nikki, my only question now, why do we need 6 american flags on the moon? shouldn't there be some other countries flags up there? not every astrounaut on the moon was american

yeah but there have been many satalites that have gone around that side to take pictures, but alas no flag, and with that pick you posted wouldn't that have said that they were on the side that could see the earth?

Um... The moon is pretty big. It's possible that when pictures were taken, the flag was small enough to not show up.

Um... The moon is pretty big. It's possible that when pictures were taken, the flag was small enough to not show up.

That pic was most likely taken by a rover. That's not necessarily from the site that humans actually landed on.
