i wouldn't say hitman per se, more like a murderer let loose with saddam.

What is highly possible is that another inmate would want at him. There are a lot of people over there that hate Saddam.. especially in prison (if they were fortunate enough to make it that far). Something similar to what happens to child molestors in prison may occur.

well it's been done before, just not with high profile people. there was this one case where 2 inmates here in Texas "escaped". they were on the run for 2 days and were found in a creek, so badly decomposed that they couldn't tell for sure what killed them. 2 days could not have resulted in such decomposition. they found shreds of the jump suits they were wearing on the razor wire, but when they did blood work, the blood wasn't theirs.

but lets be honest here, saddam is not going to spend time in an Iraqi prison any time soon. "for the sake of security" he'll be in a US prison. not just any US prison, a minimum security white collar type of prison. he'll have his own guard, his own shower, and all the cable TV he can stand.
