just download the entire album and burn it, if you're not sure

Umm. Download the album and give it a few listens.
Modest Mouse is a band that grows on you. Odds are, the two songs you don't like will end up being your favorite songs (unless one of them happens to be Dance Hall) in a few weeks.
But yeah, download it first. That's your safest bet.
And on top of that, if you're going to buy a Modest Mouse record, get The Moon & Anarctica or The Lonesome Crowded West. Why? I don't know, I just like them better.

I'm downloading the rest of the album now. I'm not sure if those old ones will be available over here - so I might be stuck with the new one for now if I do decide I like it.

I didn't like you that much either. But now I find you kinda humorous.

I listened to them before their new CD. I haven't actually heard anything but Float On from their new one. I remember the days when I'd ask people, "Have you heard of Modest Mouse?" and they'd be like, "Huh??"

I did the big mistake of buying the album based on one song. I wish I had just gone on iTunes and bought 'Float On' and left it at that.
