I don't think anyone's going to be that generous.
And that anthrax thing reminds me of when my dad and I put my mom's birthday present in a box with baking powder all over it. Then we wrapped it in brown paper with oil spots on it and put it in the mailbox.

Look at all the other album releases for Our Lady Peace and you'll see a trend that all albums were released in Canada months prior to be released in the States. See, OLP cherish their Canadian fanbase since they are Canadian
Gravity was released the same day in Canada and the states.
Release dates have more to do with the label than what bands want. In Sony Canada's case, they go by the American release date unless an act is more popular in Canada. Then they release it early.
People don't seem to realize that OLP aren't some freelance band making music in their spare time. They're contractually obligated to do the majority of what they do (although how they go about doing it, ie. what music they make, is up to them). Release dates and the releases themselves are Sony's decisions.
Not Afraid is my fav OLP song!!! in my ears, its the best from all the new stuff, why wudnt it make the CD? its easily the best song ive heard written recently
- Not Afraid -
- Driving On A One Way Road -
- Some Courage And A Radio -
- Drive Until Our Eyes Cant See -
1. Before you start running your mouth, please make sure you know what you're talking about. Just keep that in mind.
2. Months prior, eh? Only two of their albums had a noticable delay, Naveed (because no one in America cared at that point) and Spiritual Machines (because they were stupid and thought holding off on the album wouldn't KILL their American sales with Napster.)
3. Yeah, OLP loves them Canadians, that's why they didn't go on tour in Canada for Gravity until the middle of the winter. In that time, however, they managed to fit three Detroit shows in there. Now that's some love.
I'd keep going, but you only gave me one sentence of fodder, and I don't feel like being banned because of something like you. Just remember, think before you type, because as long as I'm on the board, I will harass. Muahahahah.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Well, that's good news then if it didn't make the CD, because they clearly thought that however good it was, it was not on par with the rest of the CD.
Of course, it could be that they went an entirely different direction and decided that Not Afraid just didn't fit. Which may not be so good.
I'm going to stop typing.
I just wanna get out,
Stuck inside of this.
Waiting for something else,
You may be right but one thing that your not in the right for is running your mouth off like some little ass punk who thinks he knows the whole world. You need to know some things about people skills. There's something called getting along with people and if you think it's running your mouth on some mistake I had written down then wow you wasted your whole time thinkin' how cool you were while you were writting that Oscar Winning Thread. *claps*

ala Trapeze.
Right. Oh how I would kill for a studio version of that.
Anyway, I am grateful for a studio version of Not Afraid (which we don't have us Trapeze), which honestly has grown on me a whole whole lot.
I think I really like it now, I love the sound. If it doesn't make the album, it's still a song that I have a studio version of, so hooray

The blah blah blah was in response to Smooke because I didn't feel like carrying on with anything. There's a thread here somewhere with a link to the new song. I just don't know where it is.
