Life cheers me up when I am down. I guess it wouldn't if I hated OLP and the reason I was down was because the radio kept playing Life.

Life is partially responsible for getting me into olp. I've liked olp for as long as I can remember (*has sudden flashback of singing OMA on her ninth birthday*) but they were always sort of in the background of something more mainstream, like spice girls or nickelback. On the last day of elementary school (when I was still in my nickelback phase) the teacher was letting us play cds, and Life got put on after a bit of argument from some uncool people. I started singing along and remembered how I loved the song and was like "Oh, yeah, Our Lady Peace!" and later on I was telling my friend about their older songs that I remembered. It was still awhile before they became my favorite but that day sort of woke me up into remembering they existed and how great they were.

Nice story, huh?
