Xbox graphics own PS2's.......hands down, no diggity doubt.
The Bond games have BLOWN BALLS since Goldeneye. And I hear ya Rob......I hope EA doesn't fuck this one up. Reviews are sayings its gonna be the best since the N64 release, but I guess we'll see.

The reason every Bond game after Golden Eye has sucked is because EA made them not Rare. As you said I really hope EA doesnt mess up yet again but based on their past history with the license I'm not gonna get overly excited.

Which one? Goldeneye 2 or every other Bond Game EA has made. I cant say i've tried Goldeneye 2 but I have played EA's other offerings and they were subpar.

nope. you can play cd's on a ps2 but not rip them onto it.
however, the ps2 can play dvd's out of the box, the xbox needs a peripheral to do that.

If you like games like Mario Kart and what not, cube is the way to go. They have Mario Kart Double Dash which is amazing and a lot of fun. They also have stupid games like Luigi's Mansion and Quidditch and other Mario games that you can pick up at anytime and play. But the cube doesn't have a great selection since they targeted most of their games towards kids (even though the average gamer age is like 25 or something

) But they realized that and are coming out with a lot of cool new games.
The PS2 has a lot of varity and has been out for quite some time so you could go to most gaming stores and buy cheap second hand games for both the PS and PS2. The playstation also has a lot of stupid games like crash team racing and the spyro games if you want that sort of thing, but a lot of these were made for the ps1 so the graphics arn't nearly as good. But with the PS2 you are able to play a really big varity of rpgs like the final fantasy series as well as just about every other genra. And since you can play old and new games, you could find them cheap. Which is always nice.
.....the X-box is a ham.

I read somewhere that in order for the ps2 to work, one needs to buy a Mod chip. And you'd need the hard drive too.

Your probably right. If you ask me the whole hard drive business wasnt the smartest idea. I mean.. as far as I know, FFXI is the only game that uses the hard drive as of now. What other uses does it have?

Well, you could use it to be one of those idiot gamers who saves every savegame he's ever used since he first got his system.
Or, you could use it to be one of those other idiots who saves a separate save file each time - just in case...
