I say bow tie, because you probably won't have to wear one for dressing up other than for grad or for a wedding if it's yours or if you're part of the wedding party.
I own a tux and I don't wear a bow tie with it, it's just too formal in a way, but for something like grad where you won't be graduating again probably, you could always go with a bow tie just once.

it's so obvious....you wear knakis, a guayavera with the top button buttoned only, and a wife beater underneath.
then you bust out the fedora, the stacy adams, and comb your hair back.

got my tux today, and I went with the straight tie.
I'll be sure to post pics of my hot self after the big night, but I'm sorry to say you'll all have to wait until after the 28th.

good choice... i ended up going with the straight tie too...
actually at first i had picked out a 30's ganster style tux... but just went with a normal one after...

got myself a black suit (italian made nonetheless) + pink shirt + black tie + black nail polish.
