they teach us in forensics to always think dirty. even is there is a person with a rope around their neck, hanging from a balcony, with a suicide note taped to their shirt, investigators should always think the worst and think homicide before anything else.
a lot of investigations are sloppy. there was this case that i think took place in hamilton. some guy shot his friend and made it look like a suicide, and the cops bought it. and i think the mother protested it, so they investigated again, and it turns out that with all the evidence, they figured the friend killed him. but, because of legal stuff, the friend got away with it. it's just sad how people get away with crap like that.
