 I think everyone is just wee bit edgy! I don't even really understand why Jonathan was upset...so I said "oh geez"

thanks Cass.

I think someone just struck the wrong chord with somebody else. Message boards are so conducive for misunderstandings or lack of respect. My post was totally unnecessary..........I'm sure those two can work it out.

I don't hate Avril like some do.........she's not the enemy or anything........she's just a young kid in some ways so i say cut her a break. Its probably pretty hard doing what she does.......a lot of pressure and judgement.

Anyways, her first single didn't sway me in any way. Its was mediocre. Hopefully Raine and Chantal can get something surprising out of her. Just some more maturity and voice all her own. I would be happy with that from a 19 year old.

According to the Chart attack article Avril's doing European festivals in June. I can't imagine her going down very well at the English ones - Good Charlotte got bottled last year! Could be interesting ...
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

I honestly don't get the whole thing some people have with being against a band or an artist.

if you don't like it, don't listen to it.

whats wrong with that?

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

sometimes you can't help it. if you go into a store and they are playing a song you don't like, you can't ask them to change it. i work in retail and i am forced to listen to the "top 40" radio stations. it drives me crazy.
