I don't understand how people can like Good Charlotte. They are like the Backstreet Boys with tattoos and eyeliner. I also want to vomit whenever I hear anything from the following acts: Nelly, Simple Plan, Gob, Kylie Minogue and Jessica Simpson. Oh yeah, and that Hardest Button to Button song by the White Stripes. The video for that song gives me a headache.

Thought I am not really a fan of Good Charlotte, I will give them a little credit. But very little. They are an actual band, they did something different at the time, they were responsible for a trend in pop-punk and they made a fairly big name for themselves before they were even signed to a lable. After saying that, there is absolutely no value in making songs that piss and moan about why they are punk and other bull shit like that. But they really have made no outstanding songs, they all sort of sound the same...so how can you put one on the worst song list?

As for Simple Plan and Gob, I would support them fully. Gob more so. They are a band that has stuck around and kept making music even after a lot of people thought they had reached their peak in the 90's. I would even give Nelly some credit too. He isnt exactally a one hit wonder, and he made a lot of cetchy songs. He hasn't really done anything outstanding recently though, so he may be on the way out, espically with the shift in hip-hop to more lyrical based, or pop influenced songs becoming more popular.

I just don't understand Kylie at all. People think Meg White is an android? Have you heard her music?

As for Jessica Simpson, she isn't a fantastic singer. She cant write at all. Her acting is horrible....yet some how she is famous. I've got to hand it to her, I dont know how she did it.

Oh yeah, The Ketchup song should be on there. What the hell was that all about? That was painful to hear! I am not sure if that was an intentional rip off of "Rappers Delight" or if they were trying to pull a Vanilla Ice.

I don't think I've ever actually heard the ketchup song, but if I have, I just don't remember it. One song that I don't know why I ever liked is the song Blue-Eiffel 65. I LIKE the song Bob the Builder-Can we fix it? It is the best!

Ugh, that song was terrible. It literally made me angry whenever it was on. *shudder*

Oh, and about Good Charlotte... they don't write their own songs, and I believe they were put together. Apparently, the only one with even a little talent is Billy (guitar player). But, yeah, they are a whole lot like the Backstreet Boys plus tattoos and eyeliner... though some of the BSB have tats and eyeliner, too. :freak:

And, anyone here who likes GC, I'm not dissing them... heck, I like a few of their songs. Just stating what I've heard.

I don't have any of their CD's so I am just assuming that they wrote their own music.

but if they actually paid someone to write, "Try to tell me what punk is but when I see them on the streets They got nothing to say" Then they really should sue.
I'm serious. :uh:
