It is one of the FAA, trying to figure out where the engine came from.

two questions....

firstly, when does it get re-released in theatres.

secondly: (black text) how the fuck is bringing himself back in time saving anyone. won't things just repeat themselves??

Answer (black text):

No, because he remains in the room and is killed by the engine....thus changing the past/future. [/color]

i got that much, but if the end of the world is coming on october 30th or whenever, i just don't see how it would change.
i can understand everyone's lives around him being affected, and everything in the world pretty well being altered... but the end of the world shouldn't be tied in with his life.. it seems like a completely different frame of reference.
........I guess it makes sence; maybe i just dont agree with it.

If you read the book, philosophy of time travel, contained within the dvd bonus features. The end of the world comes, because he is in the wrong universe. A parallel universe. The parallel universe is only capable of existing for a short amount of time. So by going back in time, and staying in his room he never enteres/creates this parallel universe. This is why remaining in his room will allow for everyone else to live in harmony.

that movie looks horrible...who needs another earthquake/twister type/end of the world movie. going from the acting he did in donnie darko this is kind of pathetic. but oh well.

without having seen donnie darko wouldn't it have seemed like the same type of thing? maybe this one will be something special too.
