Naveed DESERVES to win because of the "old man" intro though.....nothing compares to that friggen intro.

Well, the Incubus intro on "Just a Phase" is pretty sweet, but I know we're talkin OLP.

even without the spoken intro into NAVEED it is still their best intro.

I said Naveed(I wasn't even thinking of the talking before) because to me it was awesome how the Bass started off the song, then the drums into the Guitar and the Bass again before Raine started singing.

I think it would be awesome if they Did Naveed with all the ways together. The long music intro into the Old Man line, into the song, then right before he sings * There's on his Knees again part* we can have SOL read Our Lady Peace poem(ala Clumsy Tour) then when he is done Raine can sing the first line and chorus of Life into the *there's on his knees again part* before ending the song. OMG, it will be about 15 minutes long then.

I think this is their best song because no matter how they play it, it always sounds great. I have been lucky enough to see it done so many ways-electric, accoustic, with spoken intro, without spokne intro, more Bass intro, more Guitar intro. I always said this was there best intro song(on or off record) because it really highlights each member's part in the beginning. there hasn't been any other their songs to do that since.

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

But what about 4am?

I know that live, naveed sounds better, but on the cd 4am does that too. If i'm not mistaken

I can't explain it. 4AM isn't like that. ON record Naveed is like that, and live it is even better. Listen to Naveed. it as if every one has asolo going into the song. It starts with the bass, then the drums come in , then the guitar comes in before the vocals bring it together.

Yes, but the OMA intro owns.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

Oh man. That'd be incredible. And, I think it'd probably be closer to a half hour with all that stuff added. It's already up to over 10 just normally now.

*Pokes head out of sand*
I think the most powerful part of Naveed is the repititions of "It's Gone" therefore overshadowing its intro. I think OMA's intro is the best. It gets you pumped up for a fast moving rock song. Starseed is tough competition, but gotta go with OMA.

Hehe, I just meant to say that I haven't posted for a while, but for once I had some relevant input.
