 awesome. i hit someone in the leg with a golfball, gave my friend 7 stiches in his lip with a minigolf club, and hit another friend in the forehead with a seven iron (all accidental)

also, when i was little, i had a cherry tree in my backyard, and all the cherries were two high to reach, so i threw a little metal gardening shovel up at them trying to knock them down. it went about thirty feet in the air, missed the cherries, and i stood there looking up at it (probably something like a cartoon character watching an anvil fall on his head without moving).
anyway... The pointed end landed just below my eyelid and cut me open. it could have easily blinded me had it been half an inch higher.

Reminds me of my gym class. Whenever we played sports, this boy named Lance always showboated, because he was on the winning team. You Know. He has to win. And to win, he would get dirty. So I usually whacked him with objects.

ex- my team is winning in basketball. So He would starting tripping my team mates. So. I chucked the basketball at the back of his head.

Hockey? we'd lay into eachother with hockey sticks.

I've never broken anything, but I bruise really really easily so my arms and legs usually have a few bruises that I have no idea how they got there.

My only serious injuries were from ice skating - one time I fell straight forwards and somehow my chin was the first part of me to hit the ice (I'm not sure what my arms were doing) and it split open and I had to have 7 stitches. I also sprained my wrist once and a couple of times I bruised my knee so badly that it wouldn't bend for a week or so.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

I was at some family reunion and really didn't want to be there so I was hanging out with my cousins in the back, slipped on gravel and ended up breaking every bone in my wrist. Hey, I got to leave early! All of the bones were dislocated so I had to go into surgury to get it fixed. It was sooo cool.

Let's see. I've sprained everything on my body, for the most part. I partially tore my right tricep from tennis. I blew my elbow out from playing tennis. I've pulled many a muscle. Yeah, I hurt myself.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

I've had one of my big toes broken twice, once in fourth grade playing soccer in PE (me and another girl were going for the ball, I kicked it and she ended up kicking me) and once in sixth grade at this lazer tag place when some guy stepped on it (on my own team too).
I broke my thumb with a bowling ball. It's kind of hard to explain without hand gestures but we were waiting for our lane and I was holding my bowling ball with my fingers inside and it fell. It wasn't pretty and it swelled up pretty bad. The stupid people at the emergency room said it was sprained and then called the next day to say someone had made a mistake and it was broken.
I've got this gnarly scar on my knee when I tripped over one of those sprinklers that stick up out of the ground and landed in the parking lot. It was a water war thing with my youth group and a sratched the side of my super soaker. My youth leader freaked out and insisted on taking me to the emergency room to get it cleaned out and our ever so capable emergancy room didn't have it x-rayed so I didn't find out until later that I had sprained it too.
Other than that I've sprained my ankles a bunch of times and I'll probably be getting carpal tunnel syndrome anyday now. :D

Amber

P.S. I've also almost had a pinched nerve in my back but I'm not sure if that falls under this thread. But it hurt like hell so I'm sorry for anyone who has actually had one.

I broke my nose running into another outfielder while playing softball. Also, I sprained my right wrist playing volleyball in 8th grade, which still aches at least once per year. Not too many injuries here.

I have broken two toes.
I have cut off 3/4 of my finger accidentally when i was 8 with garden shears. It got put back with 12 stiches.
I have had 10 stiches on my head.
About 6 on my foot.
I had tendonitis.
Sprained my ankle twice.
Dislocated my toe and finger and knee.

The good thing is i've never broken anything major like and arm or leg or back or neck.

I've spiral fractured my right femur, which is apparently an extremely rare occurance.

And I've had about 8 stitches in my right knee from kneeling on a zebra mussel.

Yes, I knelt on it. I was swimming at a beach in North Bay, I knelt down in the shallow water, and there was a zebra mussel where I knelt. Those fuckers are sharp.
