he didnt tho
and that was a set pattern
its harder to defend that pass then one 2 yards deeper.. its easier to get someone in between him and the goal line.. (as stupid as that sounds)

look man it's football 101. if you need a touchdown or a first down, you make your route go past that marker for the first down, or you go across the goal line. it's just that simple. coaches know this, QB's know this, player should know this.

brown did go past it tho
he was in the endzone by some 1 or so yards.. then when tuie underthrew the pass.. he came back to the ball.. he had no choice.. tuie has to put something on the pass .. i say blame them both

i say nobody got open to score. its neither's fault, brown wasnt in a great position, but tuie had to the take the chance cause he was already scrambling... there was no time left to wait for another open reciever. so it's not tuie's fault.
Brown couldnt get deeper in the endzone cause he would have been covered and that pass would have never gotten there... ultimately brown gave himself no chance, he could have at least fallen backwards after the ball was thrown and waited for it to come to him, hoping no defenders got to it first, but what are the chances of that working out.
so it was just an unsuccessful play where no one was open... but the previous drive was tuies fault that they had to kick a feild go.
i picked oakland to pull off the upset... it would have made me 10-4 on the week. damn.
