Ive been told by my one friend that I pronounce everything wrong..and that i have a slight american accent or a really canadian accent.. i dont know anymore

i say bay-gul... I've had this never-ending argument with my friend about whether it's bay-gul or baagul. like saying the a like you say apple. WHO SAYS THAT.
Also, is it cooopons or Q-pons?

dude i totally agree, except i always say meijers. although wrong, it does sound better.
oh! in new york we found this meijers-type store Wegman's, that place seriously owns. we pronounce it weegman's just because it sounds better.

First of all, the thread title is misspelled - should be "pronunciation".

You don't have Wegman's in Michigan? I thought Wegman's was everywhere. Yuck, I hate that store.

lol, nope, i've never see one before i went to rochester. they were seriously everywhere. no joke, but the only reason we thought it was awesome was because we pronounced it weegman's. dude! and chili street, hahaha, big o's. god i love rochester.
