"the schlampenschlepper" (my car)

"the shitbanger"
Image
"jon's office"
Image
"pikachu"

"the tuba dragger"
Image
"butch"

pikachu, that name is extremely fitting.

we're an honda family though, my dad's actually pretty anti-ford. he likes hondas cause you just can't kill those things. he's still driving around an 87 civic with absolutely no problems at all.

The purpose is supposed to be that you can see from what country a car is (not the manufacturer, but where it was bought and where the driver lives), remember Europe is not one country, although you can also see it at the licence plates, just like American states have different ones, so the stickers thing is pretty useless. By the way, I have one that says CND (supposed to be Canada). They don't have to be three letters by the way, Holland is NL and Germany is just D.

And to answer another question, we do pay car tax by the weight of the car. Besides that, small cars use less fuel, and gas is cruelly expensive over here, average of 1,12 euro per liter in Holland.

In the UK we pay car tax according to either engine size (for older cars) or carbon dioxide emissions (for newer cars) in an attempt to make people buy more environmentally friendly cars.

Small cars are also much easier to park :D
