My dad's confused that Our Lady Peace...isn't actually a group of ladies. Same thing with bands like Barenaked Ladies and the such.
And yeah, I think the reason why people confuse them is because of their grammatically si.milar names.
As for sounding alike, they don't sound alike at all... people would probably not make that comparison if they were not both Candian and have the grammatically similar names
