You can use Quicktime to take screenshots and any image program [MSPaint, Photoshop, etc..] to edit it (shrinking, etc).

I tried that. It doesnt work. My file always manage to be too big. whats quick time?

It's a video player [made by Mac]. It's mainly used for .mov files, but it can be used to play anything.

Make sure that if you use paint, you save it as a ".jpg" and not a bitmap.

ooh i got quicktime and have made quite a few screenshots already...i gotta figure out one for my avatar though...johnathan, you should download quicktime...it's the answer to all your problems - http://www.quicktime.com ...but i suppose i could make you an avatar if you don't wanna download it...

Right click on the file you want to open, go "Open With...", then chose Quicktime. Play the video, and when you get to the frame you want, pause it and go "Edit" and "Copy". Then paste it into your image program.
