wasn't Alkaline Trio on Asian Man or something similar?

Yes! ALK3 left Asian Man because the fans of the band couldn't get ALK3 cds anywhere. So instead of not having their music spread, they jumped over to Vagrant so they knew stores would carry their records, but still remain indie.
I am glad people know of Asian Man Records.

That just seems wrong. Since when did Goddamnit graduate from local indie stores to Best Buy? What is going on here?
Nice avatar Jeff. I guess that cd cover is better than FHTI

For Your Lungs Only wrote:Nothing by Alkaline Trio has been played on the radio. It probably won't for a while. There is a slight chance their new stuff can get radio play, but probably not. They sing about some fucked up shit.
I've heard "All On Black" on the radio here more than their actual single.

Ahhh what the hell? Detroit won't play We've Had Enough, which sucks. I had to fight for days with the DJ to play the damn song, and it got played once.
Now they're playing a song about anti-Christian feelings on the radio in New York? I guess a lot has happened in the past couple months. Damn.

hmm... maybe its cause of "please turn that f*ing radio off" ?

I think more people would be concerned with the "What's upside down is coated in silver, this crucifix is my four leaf clover" line than the radio line. That is just how it goes. That is why a church got their cd banned in all stores in a specific city. Fun, isn't it?

ya i dont see why that one's getting played. but maybe you should try something else on 89x, they did pretty well on people's choice last time. i'd be willing to help.

Yeah, I called in about 20 times asking them to play that song, and they did, so I was happy. I don't know what song I should push for next. I mean, Emma would be great for the radio, but they don't like releasing songs not sung by Matt.

I love Emma, maybe because my name is relatively similar, but I also like Every Thug Needs a Lady, Blue Carolina, and Fatally Yours, although Fatally Yours is pretty short.
