Shouldn't you Know proper grammer.
Hahah! Actually, guys, he was PARTIALLY right in correcting me. I said "wants CM a shirt"... it should've been "wants a CM shirt"... so, yeah. Haha. Put the "a" in the wrong spot. Oopsie.

just saw this now... congrats guys!
anyways about the shirts and cother various stuff...
I think a toque or something along those lines would be an excellent idea. Blue tuque with a yellow CM on it would be awesome.
As for special give aways i don;t think thats possible

considering theres a lot of ppl on this board and only like 5% are consistent posters it would impossible to do... it would have to be more along the line of special downloads. Maybe some contests. Try and see if Stacy is interested in helping you guys out. She'd be glad to I'm sure.
Mainly just don't make this too commercial. I don't think we wanna advertise the CM, it's a nice cozy place right now and we don't want it to get bloated and get out of control.

ya she does work for Sony but she could hook you guys up. she talk to her see what she can do. She's an awesome person I've been lucky enough to meet her a couple times and she's incredibly generous when it comes to giving fans stuff (I got a couple picks, a poster, a sticker and a OMA patch just from times she's came up to us in line)
give it a shot though. You might be surprised

^i'm in!!
whoever runs this thing should send an email to all the CMer's and only the ones who reply should be allowed in. there is something like a thousand members, but only about a hundred actually post or even visit. it would be nice to know how many "real" CMer's there are.

we said at the beginning of this thread who owns the CM now and we dont want people here just to win contests or get free downloads so we are thinking of better ways to have cool promotions such as contests.
stace is involved with the CC and the OMA and .net though so I am not sure if she would get involved here too. Guess it cant hurt to ask

yes. you should send an e-mail to all the people on the cm, stating that if they want to stay as a member, they must e-mail you back...and then we can get all the non-posters out of here and then we'll really know who actually posts or cares about the cm.

That's a lot of work for Rob, Jacqui, Kimmy and Al, though.

That sounds like a pretty good idea.

if we do that, I think the mods should help. That's too much work for the admins

we can just send a mass e-mail to everyone who has registered which we planned on doing on April 1st but there is no way we can have people reply to it.

I like the idea of making the CM a little more exclusive. I want to offer free downloads and stuff but I don't want this place to be come overrun and overcommercialized. I like the little family atmosphere we've got going on, so it would be good to privitize a little more.

if you need any help at all I'm sure there's a few of us that are willing to give a hand. I for one wouldn't mind helping out where needed
