He played Another Innocent Girl? Why does God tease me like this? That is probably the song that hooked me into Alkaline Trio (besides Mister Chainsaw and Bleeder) and he played it. I wish Dan would play a show here in Detroit, I would die to see him play.

Let's see, here's my ALK3 luck. I was supposed to go to their Halloween show on Oct. 29 in Detroit. Well, they must have made one of my dream set lists, because they played Mister Chainsaw, Take Lots With Alcohol, Another Innocent Girl, Clavicle, Hell Yes, I Lied My Face Off, and a bunch of other great songs I can't remember off the top of my head. I had two tickets for that show, and couldn't find anyone to go with. I would have driven there myself, but I wrecked my car. My ride backed out on me two hours before the show started. I missed Alkaline Trio. For the first time in a year and a half, I cried. I didn't cry when I tore my tricep, when I blew my elbow out, when I sprained both of my knees at the same time, when I found out an ex cheated on me the entire time I dated her, when Steph sent me into a tailspin, when I wrecked my car, smashed my nose on the steering wheel, and burned my arms and legs badly, went to funeral after funeral in high school, and when I lost at regionals in the finals, costing my team a chance to go to states. But God knows I cried when I missed Alkaline Trio.

If my friend Alan wasn't sick, we'd have gone. But yeah, I can never catch an Alkaline Trio related break.
