My friend had that happen with his eyebrow ring .. if the ring/barbell whatever that you put in is too thin the skin just grows over it and pushes it out .. it's a waste of money if that happens too since piercings are kinda pricey and you have to get it re-pierced .. I didn't know they could grow out so easily

Christina Aguilera has one nipple pierced. That seems weird to me...Just getting one.

I'm boring. and a wuss. I finally got my ears pierced on Halloween. I was gonna get two holes, but.. erm. I passed out

so I'm waiting till these heal, then starting up again. I'm planning on 6 in each ear.. then put some holes in my face! "when you don't live here anymore" says my mother.

I'm waiting till I'm "old enough" for my two tattoos, also.

I'm nuts about piercings! Currently I just have my lip, tongue and ears done. My ears are stretched to 6g and I don't think I'm going to go any bigger. I used to have my bellybutton done and tons of piercings in my ears, but like a lot of you guys, my upper ears are all fudged up because I had them done at a hairdresser. Don't ever get anything pierced with a piercing gun! It's just wrong. Needles make a million times more sense. My lip ring is my favourite -- I adore lip piercings. Mine didn't hurt at all when I got it done. There were a couple of days of pain and annoyance, but it cleared up really quickly. It's perfect, I love it.

As for tattoos, right now I have 2. I have Naveed in persian on both sides of my lower back. I'm planning to get a big piece all the way across my lower back which incorporates the tattoos that I already have, but I don't have any solid plans for what I want to get yet.

Body art rocks. I want another piercing!

i do wanna get more tattoos but i need to really think bout it. The first one i got it def took months before i decided what to get. As for piercings , i wanna get my eyebrow pierced but being i now am back to working in an office i can't but i'm hoping to get my navel pierced as soon as i get up the nerve.

I don't even have my ears pierced.

I'm going to get a tattoo though, I just have to decide what I want to live with for the rest of my life. That, is hard.

i heard that if you get your tongue pierced or bottom lip it will ruin the enamel on your teeth? so thats out. my mom told me too when i'm 18 and i get a tattoo if i want.

I like my teeth....no tongue right then.

I've had my tongue pierced for 4 years and it doesn't even touch your teeth, nevermind ruin the enamel on it .. I even talked to my dentist about that. The only way it would touch your teeth is if you accidently bite down on it (which rarely happens) or you deliberately chew on it .. after a few weeks you won't even know it's there anymore. Just make sure you get it done by someone who know's what they're doing and not some dive ..

My mom was cool .. she came with me when I got my first tattoo .. I think I was 17 .. she threatened to kick me out of the house if I ever came home with a lip ring, when I came home with a lip ring she freaked of course and then got over it. Doesn't see my tongue so she doesn't care about that .. although with all my tattoos and piercings my mom thinks I need counselling to find out why I'm so into self mutilating myself .. yeah .. I'll get right on that.

i don't think i would ever be able to actually get my tongue pierced. the concept just grosses me out.. sticking something throuh my tongue... agghh...

but alan, let me clear something up. having your ears pierced DOES. NOT. HURT.

people who've never done 'em always seems to think that it's a huge painful deal and that they'd "have to work up the courage" but it's hardly more than a little sting. trust me. i have a low low pain tolerance and it STILL didn't bother me.

See I think nose rings are disgusting .. those are huge turnoffs I find nose piercings gross but not tongue piercings
