I was so excited, I had been looking around for SAR for a long time, and could only find it at a couple of places for $20. So I was at Record Exchange the other day and found it for $2.99! Not only that, but a Bright Eyes sticker as well. Needless to say, I was very very happy.

With the Swiss Army Romance, I bought it when "The Best Deceptions" was getting popular. And the lady behind the desk kept telling me "The Best Deceptions" isn't on it, like I couldn't read or something. SAR is a better cd though, and am glad I bought it. Yes, I like Dashboard Confessional, it's a guilty pleasure.

If you live close to Michigan, cross the boarder and I can tell you where some good stores are to buy cheap cds. There's this one store where I want to work that has Dashboard cds for $3.99

Somewhat. It's like 25 minutes from Detroit and right by my house. If I knew you, you could visit me.

I got it at this store called Record Exchange near where I live. It's black and in yellow letters it says Bright Eyes, really plain, but hey, I had to get it.

Well... my suggestion's pretty obvious (coming from me). But, I'll say it anyway:

Silverchair - Diorama

<table><tr><td>~ Nikki Edwards
Queen of the Harpies <img src="../phpBB2/files/queen_of_harpies.gif" align="texttop">
</td><td><font color="orange">President of the Pookie Brigade</font>
"If you put those on the internet, I'll kill you guys!" - Jer</td></tr></table>
<center><img src="../phpBB2/files/squiggle.gif">

<font color="#3C8C8B">Imagine there's no heaven, it's easy if you try, no hell below us,
above us only sky, imagine all the people, <font color="#FFFFFF">living</font> for today...</font>

<font color="#50B4B3">Imagine there's no countries, it isn't hard to do, nothing to kill or die
for, no religion too, imagine all the people, living <font color="#FFFFFF">life</font> in peace...</font>

<font color="#89CDCC">Imagine no possesions, I wonder if you can, no need for greed or <font color="#FFFFFF">hunger</font>,
a brotherhood of man, imagine all the people, sharing all the <font color="#FFFFFF">world</font>...</font>

<font color="#B1DFDE">You may say I'm a <font color="#FFFFFF">dreamer</font>, but I'm not the only one, I hope
some day you'll join us, and the world will <font color="#FFFFFF">live</font> as one.</font></center></font>

Ahhhh. My favourite out of the list so far:

Smashing Pumpkins - Rotten Apples
Feeder - Comfort In Sound

Ash were mentioned, which I was happy about, lol. I'd recommend 1977, Free All Angels or Intergalactic Sonic 7"s (just for the second CD :) )

Also...
Everclear - Songs From An American Movie (Part 1)
Smashing Pumpkins - Adore
Biffy Clyro - Blackened Sky
++ Sarah ++

It's just a shimmy and a shake

Yeah, I am asking for quite a few cds this Christmas season.

The Sex Pistols - Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols
Rancid - And Out Come The Wolves
Ben Kweller - Sha Sha
The Get Up Kids - On A Wire

And some other cds that I can't remember. Fun times for all that are involved.

There are some really good bands that never get mentioned on the CM . . . so here's my recommendation:
Manic Street Preachers - The Holy Bible
-Josh
I <3 Kiwi Image

"The fundamental thing about music is its destiny to be broadcast or shared." -Colin Greenwood of Radiohead
