Dum da dum!

My results (straight from the results section of my report):

Through surveying 15 people with PIU and 15 people without, it can be concluded that the hypothesis was correct. Pathological Internet Use is likely caused, at least in part, by feeling inferior or out of place at school or work, and going to the internet where everyone can fit in. Two of the most important questions asked were “Do you feel like an outsider at school or work?” and “If so, do you feel more ‘at home’ when on the internet?”. When answering these questions, 93.33% of people with PIU said “Yes” to both, and 60% of people without PIU said “No” to both (See Fig. 1 & 2).

This idea of feeling inferior, like an outsider at school or work, relates back to the idea created by Alfred Adler, called an Inferiority Feeling which is often mistakenly called an Inferiority Complex. Simply stated, everyone strives for perfection (whether consciously or subconsciously) in life. Yet no one is able to achieve perfection, and some are left further from perfection than others. This, Adler believed, causes a person to feel unfulfilled, resulting in a feeling of inferiority (Boeree, George 1997). Through this study, it can be concluded that most people with PIU are likely to be suffering from an Inferiority Feeling.

My marks:

Report: 37/37 (100%). Comment: "Equal to a first or second year paper in terms of thoroughness of research and interpretation. Nice work!"

Presentation: 21/21 (100%). Comment: "Excellent".

So, for the 30% of my final mark that this was worth, I got 100%.

Thanks again for all your help.
