we are the brand new beatniks. we are the down and outers.
we are the bleeding hearts, beating syncopated, broken rhythm.
our speed is often break neck. we need to slow it down.
tired of being sleepless. tired of being broken.
Brandnew- "Seventy Times Seven"
Taking Back Sunday- "Theres no I in team"
these are two songs about an incident where the lead singer of taking back sunday stold brandnew's lead singer's girlfriend. It is interesting to see the similarity in lyrics but the differences in meaning of the two.
If that is not creative enough its LONG ISLAND PUNK MUSIC and its taking over the world

What did you want them to do? Put out Tragic Kingdom 2, 3, 4, and 5. They had to grow and change. I loved the progression from Tragic Kingdom into Return of Saturn and I agree the new album leaves much to be desired, but you have to admit, its not the same ole stuff they were doing 5 years ago. I'm sure (as long as the next album isn't made in JAMAICA) that they will continue to grow and change and surprise us with another GOOD album. Just my two cents, but here are some more from the randomizer:
Stroke 9 - City Life Green Day - Minority The Guess Who - Laughing Nitty Gritty Dirt Band - Mr. Bojangles The Beatles - Let It Be 311 - All Mixed Up, I'll Be Here Awhile Incubus - Make Yourself (Acoustic) Audioslave - Cochise Poppleton - Donkey Punch (great local stuff) AIC - Would Third Eye Blind - Graduate APC - 3 Libras CSN - Suite Judy Blue Eyes Sublime - What I Got, Wrong Way, Santeria Deep Blue Something - She Is Godsmack - Whatever Matchbox 20 - Rest Stop Greenwheel - Louder Than Words, Identity, Dim Halo and finally, Live - The Distance

I agree that it's pretty cool for them to change music styles completely and still do it well; however I simply prefer their older style as opposed to what it is now. I'm interested to see what their next album will be like.
