find the post you want to quote, and in the top right corner of it there should be a blue and white button that says "quote". Just click on that and it will do it for you. If there's anything in the post you don't want to include in th quote, just delete that text from between the "[ quote ] ... [ /quote ]" tags :)

Oh yeah, I know that you all love your parents, but I actually like them. I think that they are cool people to hang out with. The only fight I've gotten into with my parents in the last year is when my mom found out that I was having sex and that wasn't even really a fight, it was more just me being embarassed and her wanting me to be responsible.

My mom isn't cool to hang out with though .. if I ask her to do something with me, like go shopping or something she'll just bitch and complain about how she never has any time off for herself and the last thing she wants to be doing is walking through the mall with me all day .. so yeah, when your mom makes you feel like crap whenever you talk to her, you're not gonna like her much .. I love her but yeah, I feel like I'm boarder in my own house, that nobody really wants me here and that I'm a burden .. that's not a cool place to be stuck in

i dunno, but it just seems wrong to me when the real fathers or mothers marry a woman or man that is close to the age of their actual children.

that's EXACTLY how I felt when I was at home. To make it worse, my mom constantly complained about how I should be so greatful that she is letting me live at her house for FREE, that I should be thanking her everyday and should be doing all these things for her because I'm 18 and she could easily kick me out of her house.

I love my mom to death, and when she's happy, we're like best friends, which is a problem, because she knows me WAY too well. Therefore, when she's mad at me, she knows EXACTLY what to say and do to make me feel like shit. I'm a very sensitive person and I have a really big conscience, so she likes to lay the guilt trip on me and make me feel really bad.

My mom's a complete nutcase, and my dad's always apologizing for her. I moved out 4 months ago, and don't miss em at all.

my parents..
well..
umm
if its possible for someone to love you to the point where theyre contributing factors on you trying to kill yourself .. twice.. well umm that'd be my parents

not the only factors mind you but my moms smothering-oh-my-god-my-sons-depressed-and-i-need-to-shower-him-with-obscenely-large-amounts-of-love-and-mothering-and-drive-him-up-the-wall-until-he-snaps attitude didnt help... at all.

my dad and i'd just get in fights cuz i hated living in florida
so i'd be very vocal about it
he didnt like it
go fuck yourself.

lol, that's how I am. I really don't miss my family, just my pet bird, Deitrich. I told my mom that we're going to pretend that I live out of state this year. Bad idea. Now, she uses it against me. Go figure.

Actually, she'll take anything I say, twist it, and use it against me. For example. "Mom, I got a 4.0 this year." equates to "Bethany, what is your problem? Why can't you do this? Come on, you're not that stupid! You got a 4.0 last year! Common sense, Bethany, common sense!" she uses my grades against me ALL the time.

Either she really gets a big kick out of making me feel really stupid and bad, or she really doesn't notice that I'm really sensitive.

It is wrong. She shouldn't have married him. Everything would have been a lot easier.

 Me too. I miss my cat incredibly, but not my family. My dad calls, and I say, "Can I talk to Tessa, please?"

Living out of state has done wonders for me - they harass me over the phone, and I just hang up. There's nothing they can do about it.

My mom wants me to give my bird to somebody else. I can't do that. I love her to death, but I can't keep her at school. I don't know what to do.

My bird adores me, when I went home last weekend I could tell that she was so happy to see me. She would just sit on my shoulder and put her head down and beg for me to pet her. She's more like a dog or a cat than a bird. It's so cute. She recognizes my voice, and when I say, "Deitrich," she makes this little bleet! noise, like she's saying, "what?"

I spoiled her rotten and she doesn't love anybody else but me. She tries to attack my mom and when nobody lets her out of her cage, she screams and tips her food over. She's starting to tolerate my mom, though.

I miss my bird so much.

My dad had a bird, and my mom hated her. She'd always say, "I can't wait until THAT BIRD dies, because then maybe there'd be some peace and quiet around here!" But when Josie did die, my mom was the one who was most broken up about it. Go fig.

maybe she felt guilty about wishing it was dead

right now I want to run away and never come back. If I had access to a car, I would be in Saskatchewan by now. not that anyone would miss me. Fuck, i hate them.

Every now and then I fall out into open air just to feel the wind, rain and everything.
And though the hum and sway gets me down
, I'll find the way to peace and openness.
