Creed.

I don't care what anyone says. They are horrible, imo.

rap is not all about drinking, sex and the degradation of women... Jurrassic 5 for example. there are lots of good hip hop bands out there whose lyrical content doesn't focus around well, nothing.

man i forgot all about earshot. god almighty do they fucking suck.

there are many rappers that promote good, strong messages. The best rap song I've ever heard is Changes by Tupac, it just blows me away really.

but rappers like Nelly, like Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, etc I really detest...

As for Eminem though... I like his writing, I don't agree with it, but he speaks his mind and doesn't hold back and you have to respect that to an extent. Do i think it's right he talks about killing his wife? No not at all but those songs there have some metaphorical value to them and I'm sure that's not the point he's exactly trying to get out to the public.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

I had the distinct pleasure of getting to witness Meshuggah opening for Tool last night. Worst band ever. And they definitely didn't belong on tour with Tool.

The Tool concert was beautiful, also. Can't say that enough.
