I was surprised that Euphoria Morning was so ill recieved. It's one of my top 10 albums. I like SG too, but I thought that EM was the best music Cornell's ever made and showed a lot of thought and work. I'm not really sold on Audioslave just yet. I never really liked Rage that much. I like some of the more bizarre things Tom does on guitar, but the one string riffs get really old to me really fast.
I was of the same opinion after seeing a few live performances of Soundgarden on TV. A couple years ago, however, I saw a Chris Cornell show and all his vocals were spot on. They played at a concert hall where classical performances are usually played so the acoustics were perfect. It was an incredible perfomance that I'll never forget.
