oh i remember the days of MMMBop...
the best one hit wonders ever though were all the old bands from the 50's... bands like the Coasters (they sang Charlie Brown) , and The Drifters (up on the roof)
how can you not love a name like that? sure as hell beats a name like Our Lady Peace...

Good song....what happened to them lol?
~*alana*~
Yes, and they released a new album called "King James Version" last year. Sad Sweet Heart of the Rodeo was the single off of that ..... that is all I heard, but quite possibly the best ballad I have ever heard is Pike St./Park Slope from that album, I would check it out.

No no no, they released quickly after, Singing in my Sleep and Secret Smile which both did okay. And their new album all about Chemistry ... the title track did okay and they performed Act Naturally on Kilborn.

The Drifters (up on the roof)

I love that song!!!!!!!!! It's on one of the movies we have at work, and I loved that song so much, I had to download it.
"When this old world starts getting me down, and people are just too much for me to face, I climb way up to the top of the stairs, and all my cares just drift right into space...On the roof is peaceful as can be, and there the world below can't bother me...."
So true, so true.

well usually we only have it every Friday... or on says there's something special going on or if it's spirit week... So your looking at like twice a week we have music, and cause I'm the Social Convenor on Student Council thats part of my job... plus i have to do the announcements every morning but we always finish off announcements by playing music so I'll get to pick that as well...

at my 2nd highschool, we had a "senior lounge," which was basically a classroom with some couches, tables, microwaves and a cd player. During study hall, I'd blare SM. It was great.

Mambo No. 5.5, slight upgrade (or downgrade) to the original, just like Windows ME (piece of crap).
I haven't heard 99 Luftballons in ages. I remember that song, never could understand what she was saying in it. (In both versions)

We had music in our cafeteria too in college .. it was just this machine stuck way in the corner with about 20 cd's in it .. you could pick a cd and play it and blare it if you wanted too but people would get pissed .. plus half the time it was broken
