Trusty slashed my tires. What a dillhole.

The important thing is I shall be at OLP Detroit on 3.18.

Show up at a bar called AFB (Another F*cking Bar) right near it to pre drink and rock out. I'll be the impressively dressed man with impeccable posture accompanied by my friend and 2 hot girls.

Be there, or wait in the parking lot and cry.

Shush. :P Band t-shirts are fine provided it's not the same band you're seeing or that you haven't bought a shirt pre-show and put it on overtop of something else.

/useless information.

Nah, I don't generally wear band t-shirts cause i'm not 17. I'll look like the guy from Burn Notice, but with Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars on.

Good action. You can literally see the Fillmore from the entrance...I think, it's literally around the corner. I remember we pre-drank in the parking lot for their last show here. My buddy went to irritate Steve while he was on the phone and offer him a beer, Steve said "Thanks man, but we got a shit load on the bus."

They also got food delivered. My first time I went to AFB I look over at the Fillmore and im like "wtf, why didn't we hang out here before the show?!"

You know what else you should be careful of? Homeless people with cellphones. They seem to be taking over (at least in Ohio) and the will NOT leave you alone.
“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida

It was on August 21st. We were hanging out by my buddies red Jeep pre-gaming before the show.

Detroit really isn't that bad when you're downtown. It's the surrounding neighborhoods that are bad. It looks like that show "Life After People" but people are actually living there.

What I wouldn't mind is for Our Lady Peace to start experimenting with tape loops and more experimental music. I think it's time for our boys to venture into the avant garde.

Basically, on this next album, I'm looking for a manic explosion of sound.
Talk, talk is cheap, puts me to sleep.

My list of 'toos':

Too many fedoras.
Too many pairs of tight black jeans.
Too many guys in a room. (Four is enough.)

Did you just describe Gwen Stefani's musical progression?

I don't think that's quite what he means by tape loops.

Is drop D tuning more experimental. Now that would blow my socks off!

Drop D is a guitar tuning -- probably the most common in rock music aside from standard tuning -- not a style. And yes, OLP use it.

Using musical instruments is passé. Besides, they already tried to play an early version of Will The Future Blame Us? (I Don't Want To Know) in drop C, the same tuning as, or perhaps one step up from, Metallica's dirge-like St. Anger.
