Furious George wrote:"The Right Stuff" should totally fuckin be a single! OLP has got to get wide exposure to it in some way!
There's gotta be a way to get this song out there (and no not in some lame promo attaching it to packs of beer). A single that's not tied to the album? A tie-in with a movie? I dunno, but this is a seriously great olp song. Hint hint Trustworthy.. time to talk to the guys..
Who's with me on this one?
Oh, man...I so agree. This song is so damn catchy...and I love the lyrics. Maybe they could even re-release this track in a future record (like K'Naan did with "If Rap Gets Jealous")? Didn't they cut it because they didn't think it fit with the rest of Burn, Burn? That way, this could become an actual single to promote the next record.
And if I don't make it known that
I've loved you all along
Just like sunny days that
We ignore because
We're all dumb and jaded
And I hope to God I figure out
What's wrong
This song reminds me of the 80's dance songs. I totally see this being a big hit in dance clubs..

But seriously I really like this song, real catchy! And the video is so great! Such a different style for OLP....But a really nice surprise for the delux edition.
Reminded me a lot of Eyes Wide Shut!
This needs to be on TV! Especially if they *are* in fact trying to appeal to a newer/younger fan base......
When was this video made? I'm guessing before it was dropped as the single?
I agree the song is awesome (The CD version). It is totally not OLP's normal style. But it is a cool, new style. If they were to take a new direction, this is ok with me. I just don't like the lifeless HIPT direction much of Burn Burn seems to be.
Ohhh, that video made me smile. Also, it once again reminded me that Raine is a very pretty man. The cake fight did seem half-assed, however! And where the heck was Duncan throughout that? I mean, this sort of video should be the perfect opportunity to bring out old school Naked Duncan.
PS: The start made me think of Fallen Leaves right away. The tables stacked with food? People dressed up in weird costuming and masks?
That, or it looked like something Panic at the Disco would do.
Raine and Duncan are on the right side of the table. I laughe when Jer just took a piece of cake on smashed it over Steve's head.
Raine and Duncan were pretty messy also..
Take away the fact that it is OLP. They never made anything this provocative before-it' s not a bad video. Pretty damn funny. I still say sort of Raine's slap in the face to all the religion out there. That priest or whatever he was-was pretty perverse.. He also looks like the guy from the Madonna Deeper and Deeper video.
