you haven't heard represent in a solid amount of time. i hear it everyday so either you live in the boonies or i just get out to much

ivewaited, different areas have different expressions they use. Not everyone says the exact same things. Hell, I have cousins that live a few counties over and they give me weird looks when I use certain expressions. So that doesn't make him an idiot of some sort for not having heard it in awhile.

You never hear the phrase 'so and so representing', or any variation there of, around Saskatchewan.

And there's no reason to insult someone concerning the phrases they use. There's countless dialect variations all over the place...It's normal for terminology and phrases to vary from place to place. That's the way that language works.

I don't insult people because they don't use the word bunnyhug! I've just gotten used to the weird looks when I use it

. I confused a sales clerk in Minneapolis incredibly badly when I asked about bunnyhugs...then realized that only Sask. really uses that word.

I've heard the phrase "represent" I guess I was kinda just making jokes and calling it retro. Like 2001. That's retro to me.

I get out plenty. However I guess I do kind of live in middle town America. Don't live in the "big" city so I suppose it's different for the inner-city folks.

and neil, a bunnyhug shall remain a mystery until someone else (i have a feeling it'll be saman or sand...) tells you. cause things are so much more fun when shrouded in mystery.
