I did the same thing! 'Twas Kathy who failed us both!

WHAT?
You guys don't know Robert Munsch or the Bernstein Bears?!?
http://www.robertmunsch.com/booklist.cfm
Bernstein Bears, I don't really care about. But Robert Munsch is the king of kids stories.
You'll probably recognize a few, even if you don't know who he is. His book "Love You Forever" (which, to be honest, is more for the parents than the kids) was on Friends (Joey read it at Rachel's baby shower).

Well, not as much as Robert Munsch, and not enough to dig up a website.

did you look at the booklist? Nothing rings a bell? And it even made it on Friends and you don't know of Mr. Munsch?
"A mother held her new baby and very slowly rocked him back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. And while she held him, she sang:
I'll love you forever I'll like you for always, As long as I'm living My baby you'll be."

And surely you know Paper Bag Princess at least.

Hmm... "Thomas' Snowsuit" seems familiar... and I recognize the cover of "The Paper Bag Princess", but I'm not sure I ever read either of them.
I loved the Berenstain Bears, though.

... but I still have no idea what's going on in this thread. It sort of... randomly changed topic without any warning.

it wasn't random... there was a topic progression! From math, to becoming a math geek, then 'quick paint a picture', so we got some art, and then that progressed into the Berenstein Bears!

It was the random painting of a picture that confused me!!! Doyyyyy!

it saved me from becoming a math geek

But if you were a math geek, you could use your geekyness to solve crimes!
like that guy from Numb3rs!
Everyone knows that solving crimes is cool.
